It’s a tale as old as time.
It’s a song as old as rhyme.
It’s also a bit of line dancing to country-western music.
Enter Moriah and Kris.
These two high school sweethearts have been together for six years! Kris proposed to Moriah in October 2018 just outside of Cinderella’s castle, using a gorgeous ring that belonged to Moriah’s grandmother. You could even say that grandma was the fairy godmother, watching over these two.
What a Disney-perfect romance it is, too. Just look at these photos: you can see a mix of love both fun and reflective, deep and soulful and light and happy. Moriah and Kris have all the things that the best Disney couples have, and maybe even a little more.
We swear, we’re not bringing up Disney just because we like it: Moriah and Kris are both big Disney fans. It’s not just because the proposal happened in front of Cinderella’s castle, either–Disney movies are one of their favorite ways to pass the time, and their wedding is even going to be themed after Beauty and the Beast. (Personally, I can’t wait to see if their drinkware looks like Chip.)
Nobody can have just one hobby, though, and that holds true for these two. Country dancing is another pastime of theirs. (Cue the yeehaws.) We’ve said before that doing things together strengthens a relationship, and you can really see how close Moriah and Kris are. The couple that country dances together stays together, we think!
These two were a blast to work with. We even got into a long conversation about Disney and theme parks after the photoshoot was over, and finding common ground with our clients is always great.
We can’t wait to see their wedding!
