Hello, readers! Jo here, back to talk about another styled shoot. This one had something particularly unique: horses! Thanks to Sutton Farms, the venue for this shoot, the vibes for this faux wedding skewed rural and rustic, taking a bright wedding aesthetic and adding a cool twist. Jenn Sutton of Jenn Sutton Photography outdid herself styling this shoot–almost everything matched perfectly, and anything that seemed different made intriguing accents.
Thanks to rentals from I Do Rentals AZ and Material Girls Weddings, plus signs from Small Town Charm, there were plenty of photo op spots, each with lots to love. The floral design from Array Design matched the light color scheme perfectly, accenting everything with a natural touch. Our favorite is probably the Crazy in Love wall, which was a perfect place for a photo op and a drink!
It’s never good to drink on an empty stomach, though. After we browsed the elegant invitation suite by Copper Cactus Company, we needed to check out the food. Allison and I both have a bit of a sweet tooth, so we definitely were drooling by the time we got to Decadent Macaron’s work. The gold leaf on their macarons were a dignified touch to an already-upscale pastry, and their work outside of this shoot is just as tantalizing. And the CAKE. Amour de Sucre went for a classic white look, letting the florals be the star of the decoration. Gorgeous, don’t you think?
Naturally, you can’t have a wedding without a lovely couple. This shoot had two! Emily and Ivory Amarah brought along their beaus, letting true love shine through every shot. With hair and makeup by Janice Ramos and Superstition Makeup Co., our stunning models were photo-ready and lovely, to boot.
Every styled shoot brings new inspiration, not just for us and our photos, but for everyone who sees them. Sometimes a shoot is full of vivid colors, while others go for classic pastels and whites. No matter what your favorite is, though, I think these styled shoots are always a great way to keep an eye on what’s going on.
