Wedgewood Lindsay Grove Wedding – Sarah and Dean

Even in a year like 2020, where things are a little weird for all of us, love still finds a way to thrive. Take Sarah and Dean, for example: they finally tied the knot! Their ceremony at Wedgewood Lindsay Grove was gorgeous.

It started with the bridal party getting ready in separate groom’s and bride’s suites. Dean’s wedding room took on a fun mancave vibe, with plenty of music and the right amount of horseplay as he and his groomsmen shared a toast for a blessed marriage.

Sarah’s room was just as lighthearted, the airy interior filled with laughter as Sarah and her bridesmaids hung out in plush robes. Champagne selfies with the beautiful bride made a great pastime for the ladies as they swapped stories about fun times past.

Getting ready is just the appetizer, though: the main course was yet to come. When Dean saw Sarah walking down the aisle, you could tell he was overwhelmed thanks to some of the best happy tears we’ve ever seen. Sarah made her way to him, and as she got closer, Dean took her hand into his and they began to take the steps to the altar together.

That first step toward a life in matrimony was a doozy, but one to remember. Sarah’s fabulous crystal stilettos slipped just a little, and Dean was down with her in a flash to pick her back up. It’s the kind of moment you never want to see at an important event, where your heart jumps into your throat and you hope everything is okay. Thing is, Dean’s quick rescue made it clear: he’s going to be there to support Sarah every step of the way. It’s pretty clear that Sarah will be there for him, too.

Sarah and Dean wrote their own vows. It’s one of our favorite parts of weddings–seeing the unique ways each couple present their vows and the different lifelong promises between them is always a joy. Standing beneath the gorgeous, stately gazebo, Sarah pulled out five tiny, adorable pieces of paper, and from them, she spoke her love for Dean out loud, Dean returning every ounce of love with his own vows. They lit unity candles made by their mothers, eternal tributes to their two families becoming one.

Once everything was sealed with a kiss, it was time for us to snap photos of the bridal party and cocktail hour. Underneath dreamy string lights, guests nibbled on hors d’oeuvres and mingled. After our shots, Sarah made her appearance on the dance floor with custom Chucks–who said you can’t have comfort and style?

It was amazing watching Dean and Sarah dance, seeing how happy they are together. Being able to see how in-flow newlyweds are is another part that we love about our jobs: you can’t help but feel hope for the world.

Even when the night has to come to an end. Sarah and Dean rounded out the night with the last dance, and Dean led his wife out the giant wooden doors. The guests greeted them, lined up with sparklers for a getaway tunnel, but there was a surprise Dean hadn’t told Sarah about: a red carpet leading to a historic Rolls-Royce, all theirs to whisk them away. It was something Sarah had dreamed about.

These two truly are at each other’s sides, their love supporting them from now until ever.

Congratulations, Sarah and Dean! Thank you for letting us be a part of your love story!

Love,

Jo + Alli
