Sometimes you just need to escape. Whether you need to get out of the house or find a totally new area, a change of scenery can really help.
Here in Arizona, our escapes usually involve greenery. Though in this case, there was a lot of pink too, thanks to Miranda Madison Events‘s Pink Garden Escape! Her planning is fantastic. If you’re not familiar with styled shoots, you might not realize that there can be some road blocks: photographers get excited when there are great shots to take, so sometimes we have to line up!
Miranda, though, planned it all alongside Julia Romano Photography so there were plenty of details to capture and nobody was shooting the same thing at the same time. (Miranda, you rock!)
In the southeast area of Phoenix, part of the city of Gilbert, you’ll find Agritopia. A lot of our neighborhoods here are great areas, but Agritopia is unique–it’s meant to foster a sense of community and focus on growing food for the area, with plenty of farm-to-table restaurants.
That’s not all, though: there are wedding venues! Agritopia Weddings & Events uses the gorgeous agrarian landscape to make something truly special, from romantic evenings to full-on soirees. Walking into the orchard felt like entering a fairy-tale wonderland! Desert Sage AZ‘s marquee letters just made things look even cooler.
Even styled shoots need models, too–with two sets of couples, there were plenty of snapshots to take and a whole variety of glamor to take in. Celebrity Tux and Tails always does an amazing job with the suits, and Strut Bridal made some fan-freaking-tasting selections for the wedding dresses! The outfits only go so far, though: Kismet Beauty and Glamour made our models’ hair sleek and elegant, and Gatsby G‘s makeup work is as gorgeous as ever! (Plus, she and KB Glam were constantly on hand for touch-ups to make sure they looked fantastic the entire shoot. Their passion for their craft is inspiring.)
No wedding is complete without a reception–even fake ones! AZ Main Events‘s and Prim Rentals‘s rental setups made for ridiculously eye-catching areas, and The Confetti Studio’s tableware looked amazing between Wildflower Design Co‘s florals and LullaBelle Design‘s stationery!
We definitely had to resist Silver Rose Bakery‘s cake, by the way. It was simply mouthwatering!
All in all, it was an amazing shoot. We hope it gives you some inspiration, whether you’re looking for wedding ideas or planning other events of your own. All we ask is that whatever you create, it’s something that makes you smile.
