Backyard Estate Wedding – Brittany and Danny

A beautiful Mountain View desert landscape made for a dreamy backdrop as Brittany got ready for her wedding. The scene: her mom’s house, an adorable spread of gifts for the bridesmaids, a charcuterie board, and sparkling wine. Brittany shared a moment with her close friends, snuggling up on the bed for a heartfelt toast. They even got up and tossed some balloons again for a last fun moment before Brittany became a wife.

With a few finished curls and sprays of hair perfume, the bride’s group was set to stun. Brittany, of course, stood out, with crystal hair pins and a gorgeous champagne dress with delicate embroidering and beading. Her mom, Sue, helped her loop every tiny button, a few minutes to show her love. (We always get misty-eyed at those little moments–so sweet!) The bridesmaids were awestruck by the dress… they’d never seen it. Sure, they’d seen Brittany a million times, but she’d transformed into the most gorgeous bride they’d ever seen.

Then, location swap: a green belt smack dab in the middle of the desert, with a few trees creating islands of shade. The groomsmen took the stage first! They cracked jokes, some light horseplay breaking up the formality of a photoshoot, and they looked straight out of GQ doing it. When it was time to snap the bride and her bridesmaids, we went straight-up Mission Impossible, sneaking the groomsmen out to make sure they didn’t steal a glance of Brittany in her dress yet. The photos speak for themselves–they looked fantastic!

With that, it was off to Brittany’s dad’s estate. Danny and his groomsmen got there with just enough time to have a few fun games of billiards, share a toast… even sneak a few snacks, but we won’t tell anyone 😉 On the other side of the house, Brittany had some great laughs with her family and bridesmaids. The time came, though, for the first touch, so we had to find Brittany and Danny a private location. The estate had a wooden privacy divider that worked as a perfect way to give these two a first touch while keeping Danny from seeing Brittany until the big event. (Though Brittany definitely peeked at Danny! It was a little bit of fun during a special moment.)

The estate itself was gorgeous, making for a breathtaking backyard wedding. Soaring trees sent shade rolling over vibrant green grass, an enchanting enclosure great for shelter and a day outdoors. String lights were hung atop the tree canopy, sparkling down from the boughs on the guests. White table linens with fresh roses rounded it out to make a positively elegant reception overlooking the dance floor.

The bridal party lined up behind the backdoor. Brittany’s stepmom took a moment to breathe and look down at the beautiful silver bracelet Brittany had given her. Its inscription: “Thank you for loving me like your own.” Beginning the ceremony with happy tears seems fitting when it’s such a lovely event!

The ceremony was magical thanks to the Arizona sun setting behind Brittany and Danny, lighting them with a heavenly glow. With a group of loved ones watching, they said their vows, beaming with a happiness you might not think was possible. We spied a few misty eyes in the yard as Brittany and Danny pledged their everlasting care, love, and respect for one another.

They sealed their love with a kiss, then danced the night away.

And we think that’s absolutely perfect.

Congratulations, you guys! We’re so happy for you!

Love,

Jo + Alli
